Colo. Libraries 2.0 is great!!!!!!!!!!! I haven’t gotten through all of the modules yet, but the ones I’ve seen are fantastic! I’m really wanting to explore further and adopt some of these new tools. Not only that, but I’m doing a Capstone right now and I think I’ll work my Personal Learning Environment into it. Great stuff! Why did I wait so long to take a test drive?

I meant to write last week and let you how much I liked the Colorado Libraries 2.0 program. I walked myself through it and found the self-guided tutorial style easy to follow and I especially liked the standard what, why, how, and more format used for each module. The only problem I had was getting sidetracked while experimenting with the hands on activities, so I recommend that users make themselves read through all the material first as an overview and then play, play, play!
Seriously, the freely available tools, resources, and events that come from Colorado State Libraries are greatly appreciated. I took advantage of them while in library school and now that I’ve graduated and I’m job searching they are even more valuable. Thank you.

As a trainer I am very interested in this program. I am presenting on balancing personal and professional in social networking for CLiC this spring in Pueblo, Grand Junction, and Fort Collins. I have also been approached to do it for libraries and a CAL Spring workshop. I plan on doing the modules before that so that I can recommend it and also make sure that what I am doing supports it. My hope as a consultant is to not duplicate what is already offered, but to expand on it by offering onsite training tailored to the specific audience. I don’t want to compete, since we all have the same mission.
Just wanted to touch base with you on this. Thanks for all of you hard work and many informative posts!
